Is MyPlayService.co.uk right for my centre?
Are you providing childcare, out of school and/or holiday activities for children aged 3 and 16 years old, then yes MyPlayService.co.uk is for you!

Do you offer training sessions?

We offer onsite hands-on training sessions to ensure you are fully trained to use My Play Service and to use it to its full potential. Each session last 4
hours and is for up to 6 people. Please see our pricing structure here.

No, it’s up to you to register the number of centres you wish.

Who is liable to pay card transaction fees?
Card transaction fees can either be borne by your organisation or transferred to end-users (your clients) in which case the fee is added to the amount paid by them when they make their booking.
If you choose to bear the cost of card transaction fees, a monthly invoice is raised and sent to your organisation along with a monthly statement. Such invoices are payable upon receipt.

Do you collect all types of payment on my behalf?
No, we only collect card payments on behalf of your organisation using our merchant ID. All other payment types are directly dealt with by your organisation.

What kind of payment types can I use with your system?
You can use any payment types, i.e.; card, cheques, childcare vouchers, standing orders, cash, or vouchers.
The system enables you to select which payment type your organisation accepts for each activity.

Do you charge a fee for payments received by cheque, cash or childcare vouchers?
No, we only charge a fee for card transactions, see our pricing structure here.

When do you repay the money collected on my behalf?
The funds collected on your behalf are paid into your bank account on a weekly basis by bank transfer. Payments are made every Friday for the period covering the previous week (Monday to Sunday). If payment day fall on a Bank holiday, the payment is made the following working day. A statement of the transactions is sent along the payment

Can I monitor transactions paid by card from the My Play Service?
Yes, the system features a payment console from where you can see all transactions received for each payment type.

How long do subscriptions last?
A subscription covers a minimum initial period of twelve months, it is then automatically renewed until terminated by either party.

Can I cancel my subscription?
After the initial period of twelve months, subscriptions can be terminated by either party on three months advance written notice at the end of the current
contract period.

Can you cancel my membership?
MyPlayService.co.uk reserve the right to cancel your membership if, after becoming in breach of our Terms and Conditions and / or Additional Terms and
Conditions for Providers, you or your organisation fail to rectify that breach within 30 days of receiving notice.
In the event of non-payment of an overdue invoice by you or your organisation, we reserve the right to suspend the service immediately until such payment is
made in full. This will not waive your liability for the payment of the first twelve months of this agreement.

If your child is aged between 3 and 16, then, yes MyPlayService.co.uk is for you!

Is it free to use?
Parents and carers must pay a yearly membership of £3 excluding VAT to access the website. This cost can either be borne by the organisation or the parents

How do I know that the childcare centres are meeting safety and educational standards?
All centres or nurseries listed on the website are registered with the Ofsted and their Ofsted report is available from their space.

Data confidentiality
We are registered with the Data Protection Act 1998 under the number Z3353511
(ICO.). We respect the confidentiality of your information and information provided by parents/carers. We only share parents/carers and children’s data with the centres they are registered with.

Where and why is my data stored?
MyPlayService.co.uk need to hold personal information about you and your child(en) for safety reasons and to ensure the best service is provided to you and your family based on your personal circumstances. All information is stored on secure computerised databases on Microsoft Azure Platforms.

Do you share my data?
The information you provide to us will be held on our computers in the British Isles (Ireland) and may be accessed by any of our employees, officers, agents,
suppliers or subcontractors in so far as reasonably necessary for the purposes as set out in our privacy policy. Those parties process information, fulfil service, process credit card payments on our behalf. We may also pass aggregate information on the usage of our site to third parties but this will not include information that can be used to identify you. However, your personal data and data entered while registering your child(ren) will be confidentially passed onto the childcare provider (centres) you are registered with, this is because centres need to have all necessary information related to your child(ren) including, but not limited to medical condition, food allergy, behavioural problems in order to provide a service adapted to your family needs. Centres may also need to contact you, relatives or doctors in case of emergency. The centres will hold and process this data in accordance with their own privacy and/or data protection policies and you are advised to check the terms of these before you register. We are not responsible for their use of your data. In addition, we may disclose information about you: • to the extent that we are required to do so by law; • in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings; • in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk) or the rights, property or safety of our customers, users, or others; • Finally, if our business enters into a joint venture with or is sold to or merged with another business entity, your information may be disclosed to our new business partners or owners Except as provided in this privacy policy, we will not provide your information to third parties.
